Applied mindfulness in the workplace is a powerful people development tool

Mindfulness enables and empowers people to grow their capacity to effectively navigate change and uncertainty, regulate their nervous system, and improve relationships.

Speaking from my people workplace experience, individuals are more engaged and are connected to their work’s purpose when there is an environment of support and they have access to tools to help them learn how to build resilience, ways to shift from being reactive into being responsive, and how to work & communicate from a place of compassion for themselves and others.

The American Institute of Stress has calculated that around $300 billion of economic output is lost in the US each year through absenteeism, poor performance, employee turnover, accidents, and stress-related workers compensation claims. As concerning as the statistics are, you can be an employer of choice, choosing to be a part of the solution by bringing mindfulness to your team. Happy, engaged people create a tremendous amount of value for the companies they work for.


Menu of mindfulness workplace programs and experiences

Mindfulness & Meditation Sessions - Designed to support and empower participants to manage stress, build resilience and develop emotional intelligence. Through practical application and their own experience participants learn tools & techniques that they can apply to all areas of life.

Mindfulness Workshops - An interactive approach that includes mindfulness education (understanding the art and the science), putting mindfulness into practice, and providing tools and exercises that people can integrate into their workday. Workshops are anywhere between 1-3 hours in length and are ideal for workplace lunch and learns, team-building events, and company conferences.

Mindful Leadership Training Programs - In the 4-Week program participants explore mindfulness as self-leadership. The curriculum begins with education practical application of Embodied Mindfulness. Participants learn about and practice exercises that are designed to effectively manage stress, regulate the nervous system and increase emotional intelligence.

The 8-Week program builds on the foundation of the 4-Week program. Designed for people leaders, it focuses on mindful communication & people development. Practical skills are learned & applied to mindfully lead others in times of heightened stress, change and uncertainty.

Team Offsites - Half- and Full-day team building offsites designed with intention to create space for people to authentically connect with one another and restore balance. Participants learn about the art & science of mindfulness, have the opportunity to practice mindfulness.

Full day offsites allow space to integrate elements of people development. Examples of themes are growth mindset, emotional intelligence, conscious leadership & mindful communication.
